Responsibilities:
Position Overview:
As a Pet Groomer you will work with our clients to ensure their pets are safely groomed, and healthy.
You will be a highly skilled and experienced groomer, but also an excellent provider of customer service.
You should be a passionate pet lover who is organized and enjoys a busy, fast-paced environment.
Tasks include:
Bathing, drying, cleaning ears, deep brushing, de-matting, breed standard cuts, teeth brushing, nail trimming, and glands cleaning.
Pet intake and discussing grooming process with clients at drop off, along with communicating to the clients regarding any issues that may arise.
Recommend services based on the needs of the pet and give clients an estimate of the cost/time taken for the service.
Consult with client after grooming about future grooming, health needs and additional recommendations.
Clip and comb pet hair according to breed standards and required style.
Monitor health and well-being of the pets during grooming.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years recent grooming experience.
Must be able to safely handle all pets of all sizes and temperaments, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to work in an environment with exposure to disinfectant and sanitation chemicals, and animal dander.
