Front Desk

We are looking for an experienced and well-organized Front Desk associate to provide the necessary support to the hotel management team.
The successful candidate will become the point of reference for colleagues and customers alike, by keeping schedules and providing feedback, documentation and information.
The goal is to facilitate the team’s activities so as to maximize their performance and the solid and long-lasting development of the company.
*Responsibilities* * Respond to guest room block, meeting room and catering phone and face to face inquiries.
* Respond to sales leads from various event venues in town.
* Respond to electronic requests for proposals * Process room block agreements, Banquet and Event Orders and Catering contracts.
* Process reservations as needed for group blocks.
* Review group block status on a regular block and contact the event organizer as necessary.
* Interact with group organizer during the event.
* This position will also work front desk shifts as scheduled.
* Employee will work a variable schedule which will include some evenings and some weekends.
*Skills* * Proven experience in sales; experience as a sales coordinator or in other administrative positions will be considered a plus; * Good computer skills (MS Office) * Well-organized and responsible with an aptitude in problem-solving * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * A team player with high level of dedication' 'Work Remotely * No Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $10.
