Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Truck Driver to join our team.
As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations using different types of trucks and trailers.
This is a vital role in our organization, ensuring timely delivery and safe transportation of goods.
Duties:
- Safely operate commercial vehicles, including flatbeds, dump trucks, forklifts, etc.
-Truss or Building Material Hauling Preferred
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment
- Follow designated routes and schedules for efficient delivery
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and other relevant information
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members
- Handle any necessary paperwork or documentation related to deliveries
Skills:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements
- Proven experience in commercial driving
- Familiarity with different types of trucks and trailers
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries
- Physical stamina to handle loading/unloading tasks
- Good communication skills for effective coordination with team members and customers
