Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that promote physical, social, and intellectual growth
- Create a safe and nurturing classroom environment for children to learn and explore
- Provide individualized instruction and support to meet the diverse needs of each child
- Collaborate with parents and other staff members to ensure open communication and a positive learning experience for all students
- Use effective behavior management strategies to promote positive behavior and social skills
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to parents on a regular basis
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and development
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children in a classroom or childcare setting
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans and implement age-appropriate curriculum
- Familiarity with early intervention strategies for children with special needs
- Proficiency in literacy education, including phonics instruction and early reading skills development
