Director of Veteran Affairs

The Director of VA Affairs will manage the Military Advisor and Military Representative.
This position will manage/complete the certification of Veteran attendance under all appropriate university, state & federal policies & regulations; Maintain a current understanding of all State and Federal regulations regarding Military/Veterans Benefits; Monitor benefit recipients' academic records for satisfactory academic progress in compliance with all VA rules & regulations; Assist with liaison work between Veteran students, VA Vocational Rehabilitation students, the Department of Veterans Affairs, Vocational Rehabilitation Counselors, & other educational institutions to ensure Veterans receive their benefits in timely manner & according to all VA rules & regulations.

Qualifications: Master's degree preferred but not required.
Clerical or administrative experience, customer service, good written and oral communication skills a plus.
Knowledge of Military /VA Educational Benefits and related policies and procedures a plus but not required.
