Many teaching and classroom materials that I had from when I taught special needs children kindergarten through fifth grade.
These items are from 2005 to 2010 and some are even older but they are still usable; in fact, some of them were never or rarely used so are in excellent shape.
Unfortunately, I became permanently disabled more than 14 years ago.
I would love to gift these materials preferably to a newer special education teacher, someone studying to become one, or a group of home school parents.
Here is a list of some of the items:
*** What’s My Change? Puzzle Cards
*** Sequencing – set of color cards with three step pictures students put in the correct order
*** Beach ball – unused , write reading/math questions for students on sections, once inflated toss ball around and have students answer question hand comes on when they catch it, as ball is tossed student answers question
*** Shoe used for practice learning how to tie shoe
*** Roll of desk tape with printed ABC letters and number line and roll with cursive ABC letters
*** Capital letters with holes in them and yarn students thread through the holes
*** Write again lap boards, 2 sets of 18 of each, younger set is light purple on language arts side and light purple on mathematics side, older set is blue on language arts side and green on mathematics side, the mathematics side of both sets provides an open dry erase side where math problems may be worked out or other drawings done and each has something at the top (shapes and number line on younger sheet, fractions on older sheet, difference on language arts side is printed letters in D’Nealian style with midline on practice lines and this side on the older pages has cursive letters.
*** Flashcard sets – many without boxes – different types including beginning words, math facts, directions, and more
*** Wooden box (2) of wooden ABC letters
*** Sight word games and other learning activities and methods such as some Wikki Stix
*** Items useable as counters and other things such as domino pieces (regular and foam), checkers pieces, game pieces, and more
*** Magnetic money and plastic coins, 3 magnetic wands
*** Individual learn ABC letters and learn numbers dry erase books, small time telling practice clocks, different shapes in foam pieces and thicker paper cutouts
*** Bucket balance teaching scale for student use
*** Miscellaneous supplies including dry erase markers (thin and thick), chalk, holders for chalk pieces, Vis-à-vis overhead markers, colored markers, dry erase board cleaner, push pins (some designer ones), eraser tops for pencils, rulers, larger cutouts (most laminated) that may be used for many different things including on bulletin boards (shapes include a rainbow behind a cloud, keys, frogs, feet, ladybugs), different stencils and stickers
*** Teacher timers – four or five, count up and down, timers, on strings to hang from neck There are many more items in boxes and ready to be picked up.
All I ask is that if you accept the items that any you are unable to use or do not want for whatever reason that you pay it forward and gift them to someone else.
*** Books - some big books with multiple copies for children to read along, and other books with multiple copies
