An Ode to Soccer Moms I see you dropping off your children.
I know sometimes it's tough to keep up.
But you deserve some you time.
I see you in your leggings, Doing your best to feel so pretty.
It's working.
You probably see the marks That being mom has left upon your body But those are just badges And awards of mature woman hood.
They suit you.
You feel the strain Of taking care of everybody Who's taking care of you? Maybe you should Let someone care for you Instead of dancing by yourself Maybe you should Take some time to enjoy More than just a coffee Or that secret ice cream I see you Trying all the time It's working
