Automotive Title Clerk

Come join Nick Mayer Auto Group! We are a growing Dealership group based out of Cleveland OH with stores in Dickson and Lewisburg TN.
Nick Mayer Chevrolet Buick GMC, a high-volume car dealership in Dickson, TN is looking for an experienced dealership Title Clerk/Office associate to join our accounting office team.
We are interested in hiring someone with knowledge and experience in any of the following areas, primarily DMV/ Title experience as this would be your main job function\*\* * Prepare Title and Tag documents.
* Process Title and Tag applications for all New and Used vehicles.
Ensure that all monies are received and personal checks have cleared the Bank before submitting.
* Correct problems and rejects from the County and States as quickly as possible.
* Process all wholesale deals and monitor receivables.
* Maintain files and backup needed for Sales Tax reports for payment to State.
* Handle all trade payoffs promptly after deal is funded to avoid late charges.
Follow up if title or lien release is not received in a timely manner.
* Stock in Used vehicles purchases * Processing deal paperwork to send to financial institutions * Complete and reconcile assigned schedules to the Controller for month end review.
Other experience that would be helpful for backup and coverage * Cashier/Balancing * Dealer Trades * Stocking in New Vehicle Inventory from Factory * Finalizing Deal in Accounting Qualifications: * CDK experience strongly preferred * Having notary or willing to obtain notary a must * Dealership experience is required Pre-employment background check, driver's record and drug screen required Compensation & Benefits; * Competitive wages * Medical insurance * Dental insurance * Vision insurance * Life/STD/LTD/Accident insurances * 401k with employer match Job Type: Full-time Pay: $15.
