Lead Barista Job Description

Overview: We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Barista to join our team.
As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages to our customers.

Responsibilities: - Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks - Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences - Operate coffee-making equipment such as espresso machines and grinders - Ensure the quality and consistency of beverages by following recipes and standards - Handle cash transactions using the cash register or POS system - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area - Stock inventory and replenish supplies as needed - Follow food safety and handling procedures to ensure the health and safety of customers - Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any concerns or inquiries Skills: - Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices - Experience in food handling or food service is preferred - Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations - Strong sales skills to upsell products and promote specials - Familiarity with POS systems, such as Aloha POS or similar software - Excellent communication skills to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Join our team as a Barista and be part of creating memorable experiences for our customers through exceptional coffee service.
