*Job Description* *Front Desk Agent* *Overview* Comfort Suites is looking for a friendly and motivated Front Desk Agent to provide a broad spectrum of services to our guests.
The Front Desk Agent will be responsible for providing information and services to all types of guests, answering questions, assisting guests with their needs, and providing information about the properties they visit.
The Front Desk Agent will also be responsible for the maintenance of the properties and ensuring that they are clean and presentable at all times.
This is a hands on position where you will be responsible for more than just the front desk! You will be responsible for laundry, cleaning, painting, pool cleaning, furniture rearranging, light bulb repair, and other tasks around the front desk area.
You must have a flexible schedule on weekends during the peak season.
*Essential Duties & Responsibilities* ·Greet all guests with a warm and friendly demeanor.
Provide them with accurate information about the hotel, parking, access to restaurants etc.
·Answer guest questions with patience and professionalism.
Provide accurate information about properties, rates, availability of rooms etc.
·Maintain the highest level of customer service while in guest areas.
·Maintain property safety by following proper security procedures.
·Respond to all emergency calls for help or assistance in a timely manner.
·Respond to all maintenance requests in a timely manner.
·Maintain property condition by checking for damages in all areas of the property.
Maintain appearance standards by following standards set forth by Comfort Suites and guest requests in advance of arrival.
·Perform other duties as assigned by management or supervisor.
*Required Skills & Qualifications* ·High School Diploma or equivalent preferred; college degree preferred preferred not required ·Customer service experience preferred; hotel security experience preferred not required ·Ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external customers; ability to maintain confidentiality at all times required.
·Ability to perform basic math calculations and read a variety of documents including but not limited to; cash advances, receipts, bills etc.

·Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
; stand up to 10 hours; walk normally; sit; climb stairs; kneel; crouch; crawl; twist or turn in tight spaces; reach above shoulder level; climb ladders; work above floor level (elevator); operate power tools (hand tools); operate computer keyboard calculator system.
