*Job Responsibilities *
* Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc
* Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
* Performing work specified on the repair order that meets or exceeds our performance standards for both quality and speed of service
· Communicate directly with Service Advisors and Service Manager with findings of repairs needed so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed.
Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
* Ensures proper level of inspection is completed on each car before it is returned to the customer
* Perform general maintenance in shop as needed
* Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
* Continue to grow and enhance your skills by participating in classes and training
* Be able to keep your working environment clean and organized for safety and efficiency
*Qualifications*
· 18 years or older
· Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license
· Automotive technician experience
· FCA training/certification preferred
