Description:
The Clinical Coordinator Milestones is responsible for all aspects of client care to include providing group and individual trauma sessions for all assigned clients on a recurring basis as needed; is responsible for preparation of all treatment and discharge summaries for Milestones clients.
Works closely with the VP, Clinical Services Milestones to ensure program and therapeutic activities produce the desired outcomes while following the guidelines of the philosophies and values of Onsite and its’ modalities.
Provide a high standard of client-centered support and service while simultaneously developing a strong therapeutic alliance with clients including, but not limited to, completing initial assessment interviews and collaboratively developing a treatment plan, identifying relevant individuals affecting client care (referent, family, attorney case manager); maintaining regular communication as requested by clinician and when appropriate, maintaining on-going appropriate documentation in the client’s electronic medical records, facilitating problem solving and providing crisis intervention as necessary
· Maintain composure when managing crisis situations and implement de-escalation techniques; perform proper protocol during emergency situations if requested by Vice President of Clinical Services Milestones
· Update referent sources on client progress in treatment and continuing care with information that is deemed necessary by the therapist
· Serve as point person for any after hours, holiday and weekend incidents at Milestones, including but not limited to: crisis intervention, accidents involving injury, assistance with de-escalation, etc.

· Regularly and actively exhibit a commitment to organizational health with the ability to receive feedback and take direction, ask for help, and seek guidance when needed as well as maintain positive, healthy relationship with participants and Onsite team members
· Generate master treatment plans and discharge summaries for all clients
· Effectively respond to medical records requests
· Assist the Compliance/Privacy Officer with the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) needs from a clinical standpoint, including completing quarterly chart audits
· Facilitate therapy groups, individual sessions, family sessions and program activities with clients as needed

· Actively participate both in obtaining and maintaining Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) accreditation by timely assistance with all requests, training and adhering to Policies and Procedures
· Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of healthcare regulatory and compliance policy (e.
g.
, HIPAA, CARF, etc.
).
Knowledge of and adherence to Company policies and procedures, as well as applicable federal / state / local laws and regulations; Maintain complete confidentiality in all client/program matters, in accordance with Onsite policy; Participate in team meetings and staff trainings related to licensure and accreditation

Requirements:
Master's Degree in counseling, psychology, social work or related field; Five years of experience in trauma preferred; Knowledge of 12 Step/recovery process and services and experience with adult residential treatment settings strongly preferred; Strong clinical skills in various modalities of treating survivors of trauma; Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Brainspotting, and Experiential skills preferred
Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) certification required; must hold current Tennessee license or other current state license working toward Tennessee licensure to be received within one (1) year of hire
