Oak Plains Academy is a comprehensive and highly structured 98-bed residential treatment program offering psychiatric residential treatment services to children and adolescents ages 7–14, struggling with emotional and behavioral issues.
Residents receive an individualized treatment plan, geared to meet their personal needs.
A professional team of psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, therapists, nurses, and teachers serve hundreds of children and adolescents annually with the common goal of treating and healing trauma and building resiliency in the residents we serve.
Located on 20 acres of rolling hills in a rural setting, about 45 minutes from Nashville, Tennessee, Oak Plains Academy campus features a full-size gymnasium, dining hall, separate academic building, and four dormitories.

The *Director of Admissions *has responsibility for referrals, intake, and admission activities for behavioral health residential services.
They ensure prompt response to patient and referral needs, provides clinical review of referral packets, provides a disposition response to referral sources within 24 hours of receipt.
The Director promotes resident care consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Oak Plains Academy.
The Director of Admissions supports the purpose and procedure of the entire admission process.
Creates and maintains department procedures in the following areas: daily census records, inquiry calls and referrals, and ensures that the level of treatment and clinical services is appropriate to all patient needs.
Coordinates all admissions into the facility.
Coordinates and communicates with all customers in a professional manner and provides excellence in customer service.

*Job Requirements:*
LCSW or LPC eligible, PhD, or RN-Licensure, Master’s prepared from an accredited college or university.
A minimum of five (5) years direct clinical experience in a psychiatric or mental health setting desirable.
Must have a minimum of two years supervisory skills.
