Qualifications: • Must have a minimum of high school diploma, GED • Knowledge & Skills: Must be about to perform the job duties listed below • No minimum experience required.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
• Reports to: Facilities Manager Position Summary: Recovery Aides are direct care staff that are responsible for the 24/7 monitoring of the facility and ensure that the program runs on time, maintaining order.
Responsibilities: • Communicate effectively with all staff via daily briefing/debriefing.
• Mediate between client, client’s family, provider, and case team when there are unresolved issues.
• Ensure proper documentation and filing of documents in client’s clinical chart and case file if applicable.
• Maintain awareness and knowledge of necessary information related to medical appointments, court dates, intakes and other client information.
• Answer phones when needed (if rings 3 times or more 8-4:30pm or anytime after 4:30pm) • Assist with intakes, searches and drug testing.
• Assist with write-ups and disciplinary actions.
• Assist with daily walkthroughs.
• Assist with devotion and morning praise/worship.
• Assist with AM chores.
• Pass out mail to clients.
• Assist with observance of self-administered meds.
• If approved to drive on behalf of Redeemed and Restored, drive clients to outside meetings, events, appointments etc.
• Help serve the team in any urgent capacity needed.
• Uphold the vision and philosophy of Redeemed and Restored as a Christ-Centered treatment facility and ensure client care reflects the mission, vision and philosophy of Redeemed and Restored.
• Thoroughly understand and explain Redeemed and Restored Policy and Procedure/HIPPA.
• Fill in when needed as requested by the Program Director.

Filing of Paperwork: All paperwork must be filed within 48 hours of being signed and/or received.
You will have a working knowledge of where and how to file and follow all direction.

Answer Phones: Thoroughly understand HIPPA compliance.
Assist in scheduling and returning any phone calls as needed.
Take messages and distribute promptly.

Assist in intakes, searches and drug tests: Either upon entry to the program or for any other reason you will need to know policies and procedures related to intakes, searches and drug tests.
You will need to know and understand these policies/procedures step by step and in detail to accurately conduct these actions.

Passing out mail: Mail must be passed out to clients/residents within 48 hours of receipt.

Observation of self-administered meds: You will need to know all policies and procedures related to medications.
6.
Assist with chores: You will need to be familiar with chore rules to ensure that the house has followed them daily.
7.
Be well versed in all policies and rules: You are responsible for making sure that you know the rules and policies.
You should also be able to correct, rebuke and/or edify clients.
Knowing the rules and following them is imperative to the consistency and structure of the program.
As stewards over the clients it is our responsibility to set a positive example and protect them.
The rules are written to protect our clients and our staff.
