Job Description Qualifications: * Master’s degree or higher in counseling, psychology, behavioral science or equivalent field of study.
* Must possess a current valid and unrestricted license or associate license from the state of Kentucky Mental Health Licensing Board.
* Acceptable licenses are: LPCC, LCSW, LMFT, LPCA, CSW, LPA and MFTA.
* Prefer to have 1 or more years in license.
* Prefer knowledge of recovery, mental health and other co-occurring disorders and experience in working with addiction in a residential and / or intensive outpatient milieu.
* Prefer experience working with various funding streams and ability to collaborate with our billing department.
* Prefer experience in crisis intervention and conflict resolution skills.
* Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
* Valid Kentucky driver’s license.
* Reports to: CEO Position Summary: Therapists oversee the clinical functions of the program including individual and group therapy, other clinical programmatics.
General Responsibilities: * Clinical assessments, treatment, case management, consultation, referral and education according to the individual’s professional discipline.
Services shall be provided in accordance with the established Kentucky mental health and substance abuse standards as well as within the scope of practice of the individual.
* In conjunction with Clinical Supervisor, ensure adherence to the required HIPAA and documentation requirements as identified by county, state and federal regulatory agencies; * Support the Program Director in program development; * Conduct psychosocial evaluations and provide therapeutic interventions including crisis counseling to individuals, groups and families as needed to facilitate; * Maintain personal professional liability insurance; * Attend trainings for all clinical and program staff on Mental Health and AODE and other clinical topics relevant to services provided by Redeemed and Restored Inc; * In collaboration with the Program Director, oversee the audit of the clinical charts to insure adherence to county, state and federal statutes; * Participate with team case conference meetings on a weekly basis to ensure coordinated implementation of treatment plans and service utilization such that the comprehensive care of clients reflects the philosophy and objectives of Redeemed and Restored Inc.
; * In conjunction with the Clinical Director act as a liaison with other community service providers and agencies serving Redeemed and Restored Inc.

* Be well versed in any and all policies, procedures and rules.
* All staff are assigned certain duties based upon their placement within the program; however, all staff may be called upon at times to assist with duties outside of the responsibilities listed above.
These may include, but are not limited to, transportation, drug screening, court hearings, completion of professional reports, assisting with crisis situations, shopping, supervision, facilitating sessions/groups, etc.
We all work together to glorify God and assist our clients in a successful recovery while in our treatment program.
* Knowledge of recovery, mental health and other co-occurring disorders and experience in working with addiction in a residential and / or intensive outpatient milieu.
Specifics of position: * *Complete initial biopsychosocial assessment and treatment plan.
* Complete initial assessments and diagnosis upon client admission to Redeemed and Restored.
Assist client develop an individualized treatment plan within one week of initial placement and review treatment plan bi-monthly.
* *Provide individual counseling one hour weekly:* Ensure each client assigned to you is provided with a minimum of one hour weekly individual counseling including the completion of all progress notes and/or forms required as a result of the session.
Inform all clients of restrictions of confidentiality in first clinical session.
Discuss sessions with supervisor during individual supervision sessions.
* *Assist client in developing an aftercare/relapse prevention plan:* As clients begin to transition in level of care or complete their treatment program, assist them with developing a relapse prevention plan.
Encourage clients to present this plan to family members/accountability partners/other clients/staff /and/or any other person that may have need of this information to assist Client to maintain his/her sobriety.
* *Ensure clients complete all required program studies/books for graduation:* Coordinate with facility manager and clinical director to ensure clients are completing all required studies for the program.
* *Assess for need for marriage, couple, family counseling:* Coordinate with case management, clinical director for scheduling of marriage, couple, and/or family counseling as needed for clients.
* *Discharge planning:* Complete discharge plan within 48hrs of discharge.
* *Provide weekly group counseling sessions per group schedule:* Facilitate group counseling sessions for clients that are either topic focused, from the regimen approved by administration for presentation to clients, or process.
Discuss sessions with supervisor during individual supervision sessions.
* *Work with case management team to ensure all client issues are being addressed as needed:* Provide information as presented to you regarding client needs/concerns in all areas of case management, medical, work, and insurance.
* *Ensure all clinical files are complete:* Ensure all documentation is complete and filed in clinical client files within 48hrs of session/event.
* *Be well versed in any/all rules and policies:* Ensure accurate knowledge of any/all Redeemed and Restored rules and policies.
Be ready at all times to correct, rebuke and/or edify and uplift any client at any time.
Knowing the rules of the program is not an option it is imperative.
As stewards over the clients, it’s our responsibility to protect them from themselves and ourselves.
These rules are written for their protection.
It is also imperative that you know and follow all rules and regulations of all governing bodies of your profession.
* *Provide professional liability insurance:* Maintain malpractice insurance.
* *Attend and participate in all staff meetings, staff/client meetings, and clinical team meetings:* Provide information as needed to staff members to facilitate successful treatment planning and implementation.
Assist with staff/client issues as needed.
Work as liaison for your clients with others and advocate for their wellbeing.
* *Participate in on call rotation;* Redeemed and Restored Inc.
utilizes and on-call rotation for its therapists for weekends and holidays.
As such, you will agree to be available on that rotation.
