Polysomnographic Tech

A Polysomnographic Technician performs comprehensive Polysomnographic testing and analysis and associated interventions under the general oversight of a Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) and/or the clinical director (MO, PhD, DO) or designee.
A Polysomnographic Technician can provide supervision of a Polysomnographic Trainee.
Must have current Registered Polysomnographic Technologist license (RPSGT), or Registered Sleep Technologist (RST) license, or have a current Registered or Certified Respiratory Therapist license with the Sleep Disorders Specialist (SDS) credential.
