*Responsibilities:*
_- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth_
_- Take and develop dental x-rays_
_- Assess patients' oral health and provide appropriate treatment recommendations_
_- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care_
_- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed_
_- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans_
_- Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment_
_- Collaborate with dentists and other dental professionals to provide comprehensive patient care_
*Skills:*
_- Proficiency in CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software for creating dental restorations_
_- Experience using Epic electronic health record system for patient documentation_
_- Strong knowledge of infection control practices in a dental setting_
_- Ability to work with pediatric patients and provide age-appropriate care_
_- Familiarity with Eaglesoft or Dentrix dental practice management software_
_- Experience assisting dentists during procedures_
_- Solid understanding of dental anatomy and oral health conditions_
_- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality_
_- Familiarity with medical terminology related to dentistry_
As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in promoting oral health and providing quality care to patients.
Your skills in CAD, Epic, infection control, pediatrics, Eaglesoft, Dentrix, assisting, anatomy knowledge, HIPAA compliance, and medical terminology will contribute to the success of our dental practice.
