We are currently seeking an Intern to work in our analytical lab at our site in Calvert City, KY.
This is a summer internship program from June 2024-August 2024.
What you will do:
The intern will support the engineering department on the following areas:
Waste Water Management and Optimization
Water Cut Program Optimization
Troubleshooting QA/QC issues
Particle size comparison
Reporting QA/QC and Onstream data to upper management
Daily activities include:
Hands on experience with operations
Extensive troubleshooting learning opportunities (fieldwork and process trend review)
Hands on experience dealing with process upsets and directing a labor force to resolve various process issues
What we need from you:
Must be currently enrolled and active in a degree program.
Preference will be given to individuals majoring in Chemistry or Biology.
Must have a minimum of a 3.
0 GPA (cumulative)
Understanding of an industrial QA/QC laboratory
Polymerization Chemistry Training
Familiarity with basic principles of chemistry
Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office products
SAP experience is preferred
