Avanti is looking for a full-time maintenance technician for our manufacturing facility.
Ideal candidates will have experience as a mechanic working on engines, rollers, pulleys, or fan blades.
The Maintenance Technician should also have knowledge of lathe, grinder, welder, CNC, and hydraulic press.
Experience with 480V 3 Phase a Plus.
Hours: We have 2nd and 3rd shift available.
Weekend days will be required.

Basic Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance, such as inspecting drives, motors, or belts, checking fluid levels, replacing filters, swapping motors, or doing other preventive maintenance actions.
Diagnose mechanical problems and decide how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs, as needed.
Repair machines, equipment, or structures, using various tools, instruments or devices.
Train or manage maintenance assistants.
Respond to urgent needs and be flexible on hours when a machine is down.
Other related duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications:
At least 5 years of maintenance experience required
Must be available on-call for maintenance emergencies
Must be able to work with minimum supervision
Must be able to drive a forklift truck or be willing to learn
Must be computer literate
Must have full body motion, to include bending, lifting and climbing of steps without assistance
Must be able to lift 50+ lbs.
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Certification or Associate's Degree program preferred
