Clinical Assistant

Responsibilities: - Provide patient care under the supervision of a physician or nurse - Assist with patient examinations and procedures - Perform basic medical procedures such as taking vital signs, administering medication, and collecting specimens - Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records - Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments and managing patient information - Prepare and maintain examination rooms and equipment - Follow proper infection control protocols - Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality patient care Skills: - Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology - Proficient in medical terminology and coding systems - Ability to perform basic clinical procedures, such as taking vital signs and administering medication - Experience with X-ray imaging is a plus - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment - Knowledge of medical administrative processes and electronic health records (EHR) - Familiarity with hospital operations and procedures Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
