is in search of an Associate System Administrator to join our dynamic team of ITS/ATS Professionals at Fort Campbell, KY in support of our government client.
As an Associate System Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in managing our clients’ IT infrastructure.
Your expertise in configuring, operation and maintaining servers and associated equipment and systems will be essential in ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of our client’s systems.
If you have a demonstrated background in server administration, a CompTIA Security+, a valid MCSA Windows Server 2012/2016, or Microsoft Certified Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate or newest version and Secret Security clearance, we encourage you to apply.
Qualifications and Education Requirements: One (1) to three (3) years’ experience in a related field.
Possess a valid CompTIA Security + certificate prior to hire.
Possess a valid MCSA Windows Server 2012/2016, or Microsoft Certified Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate or newest version or ability to obtain within 6 months from date of hire.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Experience with Windows Server 2012 R2/2016/2019, SCCM, Active Directory, Domain Controllers, DNS, VMWare, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), SharePoint, and SAN/NAS Systems.
Ability to plan, organize and lead others in using communication systems, record and manage processes and documentation.
Effective oral and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex issues and maintain positive working relationships.
Attention to detail with an ability to operate effectively across multiple priorities.
Experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes and procedures and utilizing Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Services (eMASS).
Current driver license and the ability to pass motor vehicle violation background check.
Proficiency in safely operating a motor vehicle, navigating the base and military grounds, paved and unpaved roads.

Citizen with an Active Secret Security Clearance.
Job Duties: Perform configuration and applications of STIGs, patches, and security settings to all servers and end point devices within the respective area of responsibility.
Attend government meetings to include Configuration Control Boards (CCB) as required.
Assist with the planning and monitoring the optimization of system operation and resource utilization and perform systems capacity analysis and planning.
Plan and monitor assistance to users in accessing and using business systems.
Perform data backups and ensure they are maintained and verified to support disaster recovery efforts.
Install, configure, and maintain operating systems physical and virtual workstations and servers, including web, application, file, print, and virtual infrastructure servers.
Performs software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages.
Install, upgrade, configure, and test off–the–shelf Government–approved SW, and apply security measures.
Perform print server, printer, and multifunction device (MFD) configuration and administration.
Maintain, troubleshoot, configure, support, and optimize all HW, SW, and associated operating systems with, but not limited to Microsoft Systems Center Operations Manager, Microsoft Windows Software Update Services, SCCM, Tanium and other end- point management systems.
Assists with providing operating and administering services to systems that exist in the cloud such as system administration support, cloud service management, service monitoring and reporting, and tiered help desk support as well as cloud support services to include all services required to transition, deploy, operate, maintain, and safeguard applications that will migrate to a Cloud solution.
Provide support and administration to installation database servers/systems.
Provide support and administration for installation IIS servers/systems.
Develop SOPs and TTPs as needed.
