Behavioral Health Therapist - 4LOCS

Behavioral Health Therapist Responsibilities: Conducts psychological assessments and interventions in an outpatient setting May serve child, adolescent and adult populations Develop evidence-based treatment plans to implement with patients under the clinician’s care Engage the patient and family to develop treatment plans that address identified goals in psychotherapy Assess and utilize various treatment modalities (individual, family, group or focused/short session psychotherapy) Provide a minimum of 20 patient contact hours per week Facilitation of psychotherapy groups as may be necessary Develop and lead community education efforts on behavioral health topics Participate in relevant and ongoing professional training Demonstrates and adheres to PBH’s commitment to care Education: Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, or other Behavioral Health related field.
Work Experience: Two (2) years of combined experience working with individuals with substance use and mental health disorders Licenses and certifications: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) (preferred) Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) (preferred) AHA BLS
