```Duties``` - Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily retail operations - Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer issues or complaints - Manage and train retail staff, including scheduling and assigning tasks - Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure product availability - Implement and maintain visual merchandising standards to enhance the store's appearance - Assist in creating and executing sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets - Conduct regular sales meetings to motivate and educate the team on sales techniques - Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including cash handling and security measures - Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop and implement effective marketing strategies ```Qualifications``` - Previous experience as an Assistant Manager or similar role in a retail environment - Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and staff - Proficient in sales management, including driving sales, upselling, and cross-selling techniques - Knowledge of inventory control procedures to manage stock levels effectively - Familiarity with budgeting processes to assist in financial planning and expense control - Ability to analyze sales data and trends to make informed business decisions - Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills for managing schedules, tasks, and paperwork - Proficient in using technology, including point-of-sale systems and inventory management software - Professional phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries or issues Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and may be subject to change.
